Light Malt Extract

Light malt extract. Malt extracts are water soluble extracts manufactured from malted barley and are used as an ingredient in the manufacturing of dehydrated culture media and fermentation media. Often used as a nutritional additive in agar formulas to promote strong mycelial growth.
